Seat Belt Restoration

Our showroom has photos of representative samples of our restored lap and shoulder belts. Our belts are restored using the finest materials by highly trained and experienced artisans. Your belts will be returned to you in showroom condition.

In most cases, we can supply original parts, but the most economical route to restoration is for you to send in your original belts. We will evaluate them and send you a written quote of the proposed restoration. Due to deterioration, not all original parts are candidates for restoration.

The Process

Each restoration requires the process summarized below. Our belts are custom built to original factory specifications and are equipped to your choice of options.

1. Disassembly, cleaning and cataloging.

2. Refinish chrome, zinc, cadmium, and painted surfaces to original luster and colors. This includes metal, plastic and rubber parts.

3. Selection of proper color and web pattern for your belts from our hundreds of styles and colors.

4. Cleaning and refurbishing or replacement of original labels, sleeves, elastic or other specialty parts based upon availability, at additional cost.

5. Disassembly, cleaning and refurbishing of retractors, if applicable.

6. Reassembly to factory specifications including proper stitch patterns by our computerized sewing machine.

7. Inspection by our quality control staff before final packaging and shipping.
